What is Ludwigsburg famous for? The Ludwigsburg Royal Palace. And what is the plural of ‘Schloss’? ‘Schließen’! The Ludwigsburg region has, in fact, been a stronghold of belt-making for decades. It is here that the belt buckles from Hepco – the belt manufacturer that has been producing belts in and for the Ludwigsburg region for a century – fasten belts. Originally based in Stuttgart, Hepco has been supplying the Ludwigsburg region with belts and accessories from its residence… er, workshop in Marbach am Neckar since 1987.
