Eternal Style
Style meets timelessness.
It carries you through the ages.
A strap with class and flair.
Timeless because its made to last.
If you care for environmentally aware consumtion, you should opt for high-quality produced belts, made in Marbach. So if you want to wear your clothes for much longer, your search ends with Atlas
With Atlas, the frustration with brand-name belts—which reveal their poor quality after a far too short lifespan by having their coatings peel off, their lining come apart, or them literally falling apart—also comes to an end.
Vegetable-tanned saddle leather—from the Swabian Alb
The leather used for Atlas is made from a single piece. No padding, no glued layers—just pure leather, up to four millimeters thick. It is sourced locally in our Swabian Alb region and tanned exclusively using vegetable tanning. Locally sourced, vegetable-tanned leather is environmentally friendly because it uses tanning agents derived from bark and wood. Vegetable tanning is a traditional process used by local tanneries, which is finally receiving more attention as awareness of environmental issues grows.
An interesting side effect: Thanks to the vegetable tanning process, the leather has a scent of pasture grass.
Tanned in southern Germany, manufactured near Stuttgart.
When the leather is tanned in the Alb region and made into belts near Stuttgart, not only are many shipping routes shortened, but environmental protection and workplace safety are also ensured throughout a large part of the supply chain.
By the way: Atlas’s really, really good-looking.
I almost forgot: Of course, Atlas is a beautiful belt. The best thing for the environment is to choose accessories that we value enough to keep for a long time.
